Recently, FACEIT, a popular gaming platform, informed us about an increase in the cost of downloading demos which are essential for analyzing our users’ matches. Unfortunately, we cannot afford such additional expenses, so we will be forced to partially limit the ability to upload & analyze FACEIT matches for users without a subscription.

Here’s how FACEIT match uploading and analysis will work going forward:

• Users with a Scope Lens or Scope Prematch subscription will be able to upload an unlimited number of matches. For them, everything remains the same as before.

• Users without a subscription will be able to upload & analyze up to 10 matches per month, while still having full access to analytics, 2D replays, clips, and available match statistics.

• New users will automatically have 5 matches uploaded right after registration, and can upload 10 more matches during each month — helping them explore the full potential of our service right from the beginning.

For users who only play CS2 Premier, Competitive or Wingman game modes on Steam, not on FACEIT, nothing will change. Match uploading and analysis will remain completely free and unlimited.

We’re doing everything we can to maintain access to high-quality analytics, clips of the best in-game moments, and progress tracking in CS2 for every player. These new limits will help us ensure stable performance across the platform and continue developing new, powerful features and tools.
