BIG advanced from first place in their group to the BLAST Premier Spring finals. What helped them in this?

The German team is known for its serious approach to the use of game resources: for example, in 2020, BIG was in the top three teams by grenade damage.

In the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021, the captain of BIG, tabseN, dealt 1,697 damage with HE grenades and showed the best result across the event. stanislaw is the second (1,234), Aleksib is the third (1,155), and another BIG's player, tiziaN (1,058), is fourth.

• #3 G2 - 3262 damage / 7 maps
• #4 Astralis - 3214 damage / 6 maps

Burn. Burn. Burn.

BIG showed good numbers in terms of molotovs and incendiary damage, but Na`Vi managed to surpass the Germans in this parameter. Boombl4 alone dealt 828 fire damage!

Perfect 4v5 rounds

BIG showed insanely good plays in manpower disadvantage - the team won 41% of the rounds in 4v5 situations (with an average of 25.7% among all teams at major tournaments in 2020). In 5v4 situations, BIG also did pretty well – 73% winrate (average – 68.1%).

Revealing  tabseN's misplay

Still, BIG have something to work on - tabseN has blown up 11 molotovs in the air, 10 of them on Overpass in an attempt to isolate the playground.
